The safety-net hospital absorbs over $1 million daily in charity care costs as it works to connect residents with insurance options.
MetroHealth System is taking steps to address a growing financial challenge while helping uninsured residents access health coverage. The healthcare system has launched a community-wide initiative to assist individuals in enrolling in Medicare, Medicaid, or plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
