FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Jurors have returned a verdict for a 29-year-old Fort Wayne man charged with a deadly double shooting on Fort Wayne’s southeast side in June.
Shan Ford Jr. was charged with murder, felony murder, and attempted burglary in the homicides of 39-year-old Anisha Denise Jackson and 28-year-old Tornor Dejuan Doby. Jurors were hung on the count of murder for Doby’s death, and Ford will be back in court next week to schedule new trial dates.
He was found not guilty of felony murder in Jackson’s death and of attempted burglary.
Quenecia L. Gaylor, 38, is facing the same charges in the case. She is scheduled to go to trial in February.
The two victims were found near Smith Street and Hamilton Avenue in June following a confrontation about vandalism at an area beauty salo
