Someone out there either really doesn’t like electric vehicles or likes the copper inside the charging cords that can be sold for cash.
West Shore police are seeking public help as a man who has caused thousands of dollars in damage to charging stations in a vandalism spree in and around the Victoria area earlier this month has yet to be caught.
The suspect, who targeted area charging stations during the early morning hours — between midnight and about 3 a.m. — is described as a male with lighter-coloured skin, wearing dark-coloured clothing, and believed to be driving an older, light-coloured Jeep Patriot.
