A 52-year-old man is facing a number of charges after an impaired driving report resulted in the alleged assault of two officers.
Regina Police Service were called to the area of Saskatchewan Drive and Broad Street for a report of an impaired driver at about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

When officers arrived, the vehicle was no longer in the area, but was found a short time later near Saskatchewan Drive and Winnipeg Street.
Officers said in a statement that they activated their emergency lights and attempted a traffic stop, but
