LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A measles outbreak is growing across the Southwest, with 138 confirmed cases reported within two hours of the Las Vegas Valley.
Health officials in Arizona confirm 93 cases of measles as part of an active outbreak in Mohave County. In southwest Utah, officials are reporting 45 cases.
Neither the Southern Nevada Health District nor the CDC are reporting any active cases in Nevada. The only case seen this fall was a traveler who came through Harry Reid International Airport earlier this month.
There is no indication that person passed the measles to anyone else.
