No tricks, just treats.
To celebrate Halloween, HBO Max is giving viewers a treat: a new episode of “It: Welcome to Derry” two days early.
Rather than premiering at its normal time, Sunday at 9 p.m. ET, HBO Max subscribers will be able to stream “It: Welcome to Derry” Episode 2 as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Halloween.
HBO’s newest original series is set in the world of Andy Muschietti’s “It” (2017) and “It Chapter Two” (2019), a two-part film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel. “Welcome to Derry” is set 27 years before the events of “It,” tracing more of Pennywise’s sinister origins.
