(FOX40.COM) — A neighborhood dispute turned shooting left one victim in critical condition and two neighbors in custody in Browns Valley.

Around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of a neighborhood dispute and that shots were fired. When deputies arrived on scene in the 9000 block of Deer Hollow Trail, they located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was given emergency medical aid at the scene but had to be life-flighted to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. YCSD said that both residents of the call location, 75-year-old Juan Leon and 66-year-old Rebecca Leon, were arrested and booked into the Yuba County J
