(FOX40.COM) — The passengers of a vehicle were injured after veering off State Route 89 on Thursday, the California Highway Patrol, South Lake Tahoe said in a social media post.
According to CHP, a Porsche Macan traveled down an embankment north of Cascade Road and hit a "very large tree." The occupants sustained moderate injuries.

The road was closed while a towing company recovered the vehicle and has since reopened.
