WILLIS, Texas (KBTX) - The College Station Cougars beat Kingwood Park 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-13) in the 5A Bi-District Round at Willis High School on Thursday.

Blair Theibaud led the Cougars with 10 kills and three aces. Chloe Rinn added nine kills, and Laila Browder had seven.

On Friday, Theibaud will be recognized before College Station’s football game for being named an Under Armour All-American volleyball player.

“This year in general has exceeded my wildest dreams,” Theibaud said. “I’ve always dreamed to be on the USA team, dreamed to be an Under Armor All-American, dreamed all these things, and to see them actually happening in my hard work payoff is super rewarding.”

Theibaud will have her jersey presented by Cougars head football coach, Stoney Pryor, at the school’s pep rally on
