The National Basketball Association has been rocked this month by the arrest of Hall of Fame player and Portland Trailblazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier on charges related to rigged gambling.

It's alleged that Billups ran rigged, high-stakes poker games backed by the mafia, while the allegations against Rozier claim he rigged his own stat lines so that bettors in on the scheme could cash in on proposition bets — which are wagers on conditions such as how many minutes a player will log in a game, how many points they will score, etc. A third individual, former NBA player Damon Jones, also faces charges tied to Billups and dealing in insider information for prop bets.
