Instead of doing something to better our lives, President Donald Trump amuses himself by demolishing about a third of the White House with plans to replace the empty space with a ballroom bearing a striking resemblance to the Russian Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.

Thus, he once again flails at compensating for the feeling of smallness that dogs him like a ghostly bloodhound. For most of us, Halloween will be over by Saturday. But for Trump, the haunting never ends.
