IndyStar is pleased to announce that Kyle Neddenriep will serve as our high school sports editor. Kyle joined IndyStar in 2008 from the Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader and has become the state's top voice on high school sports coverage. He'll lead our high school sports team that includes Brian Haenchen, Akeem Glaspie and Josh Heron.

There's nowhere in the country that embraces high school sports like Indiana and IndyStar has taken its role in telling those stories seriously. IndyStar's high school coverage has been a model for Gannett, the nation's largest newspaper chain, with Kyle playing a major role in shaping what we do. He has been instrumental in increasing the use of video in our coverage, including weekly previews, in-game highlights and a postgame wrap up show for football .
