Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, on the occasion of National Unity Day.

The event marked Patel’s 150th birth anniversary and celebrated his role in unifying India.

Modi began the day by offering prayers and floral tributes at the statue. He then attended the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade, which featured contingents from the BSF, CRPF, and state police forces. The parade showcased India’s strength and cultural harmony.

During the ceremony, Modi administered an oath to uphold the nation’s unity and integrity. He declared, “I take this oath to protect the unity and integrity of our country and dedicate myself to this cause.” His message reinforced the importance of internal security and national solidarity.
