Off to the races.

The high school state cross country meet – boys and girls – is set for Saturday at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.

Details and storylines to watch for Saturday’s races:

New setup

For the first time this year, the races will be back-to-back with the boys at noon and girls at 1 p.m. with the awards ceremony for both to follow. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m.
