Irecently attended the Public Safety Fair in Sequim and was pleasantly surprised to see Olympic Medical Center commissioner Ann Marie Henninger walking around the fair with a sign that said “Ask an OMC Commissioner.”
That is about as transparent as it is possible to be.
I believe Henninger to be nonpartisan, enthusiastic and experienced in healthcare leadership.
Under her leadership, OMC and UW Medicine signed a letter of intent to find a path forward, working together. That is a great first step.
The hospital is facing challenging times.
I plan to vote for Henninger because she has shown herself to be a passionate advocate for rural healthcare and understands the needs of this community.
Her integrity is just what the doctor ordered for our hospital.
