Bengaluru : A software engineer’s excitement turned to shock when the premium smartphone he ordered for ₹1.86 lakh turned out to be a piece of tile. The buyer, identified as 43-year-old Premanand, placed the order for a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 via the Amazon app on October 14 and paid the full amount.
On October 19, the package arrived, and when he opened the sealed box (which he recorded on video), he discovered a tile rather than the phone.
