ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two men are dead following an exchange of gunfire in St. Paul early Friday morning.

What we know:

The shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. in the 400 block of Front Avenue. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found one man lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite life-saving measures, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after, a second man involved in the shooting arrived at a nearby fire station. He was taken to Regions Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police believe the shooting was domestic in nature, and the men had exchanged gunfire. One firearm was located in the street.
