PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Temperatures will be running above average for most of Arizona today for a warm Halloween. However, under clear skies, temperatures should drop off nicely for trick-or-treating.

In the Valley, look for an afternoon high of 89 degrees, which is 6 degrees above normal. Expect abundant sunshine today and light winds. The sun sets tonight just after 5:30pm and temperatures will begin to fall. Look for low 80s during the 6pm hour and 70s in the 7pm hour. We should drop off to the 60s after about 11pm tonight.

In the high country, communities above 5500 feet should look for temperatures to fall to the 50s by 6pm and the 40s by 8pm. Skies should stay clear and winds light.

Over the weekend, the warm and dry weather pattern continues. Valley mornings will bring 50s and 60s
