People lined up to get a sniff of the infamous corpse flower at the New York Botanical Garden, which bloomed just in time for Halloween.
The rare and large corpse flower, Amorphophallus titanum, is known for its powerful, noxious stench, which is often likened to rotting meat, and its short, unpredictable bloom, lasting only 24 to 48 hours.
The garden is currently livestreaming the event and encouraging visitors to see the unique specimen quickly before it closes.
