(Gray News) – The FBI stopped a potential terrorist attack Friday morning, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

Patel posted a statement on X saying several people were arrested in Michigan who were “allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend.”

No other details were given at the time, but Patel said in his statement that more information is expected later in the day.

“Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland,” Patel said.
