TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A former Bedford High School teacher and football coach was sentenced on Tuesday after being convicted of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
According to court records, Christopher Wilhelm, 38, of Toledo, was convicted of two counts of sexual battery on Oct. 7.
He was sentenced to serve between five and 15 years in prison on April 3 in Michigan.
On Oct. 28 Judge Gary Cook sentenced him to eight years following the conclusion of his sentence in Michigan.
Michigan State Police announced on Aug. 30 that Wilhelm was accused of having sexual contact with a student multiple times on school property, at a park, at his home and at a hotel in Toledo. Police say the incidents happened in 2022.
