Hibs are closely watching Dante Polvara's contract situation at Aberdeen . ‌

The American midfielder is out-of-contract in the summer and has still to agree to an extension. ‌

Hibs have the 25-year-old on a list of possible midfield options for the summer. ‌

David Gray’s goalkeeping coach Craig Samson knows Polvara well from their time together at Aberdeen.

The Easter Road side pulled off a similar move in the summer when they r aided the Dons to sign Jamie McGrath on a pre-contract .

Aberdeen had offered McGrath a two year extension but Hibs won that fight by offering a third year. ‌

The Dons’ issue this time around is not finance.

Polvara has publicly stated the key to his Pittodrie future is regular game time.
