If you're the type who puts up a Christmas tree the day after Halloween , the weather may just be cooperating. Alabama is set to get its first real taste of winter chill this weekend, with early-morning frost likely in parts of the state.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of Alabama this weekend as overnight temperatures dip into the 30s.

NOAA Birmingham's frost advisory
Temperatures are expected to fall between 34 and 38 degrees, with frost forming most easily in valleys and low-lying areas between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
