PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. (WMTV) - A Milwaukee resident died in a crash near Prairie du Sac earlier this week, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
Sauk County deputies determined a Subaru was heading westbound on Highway 60 near Ferry Bluff Road on Monday, Oct. 27.
The Subaru drove into the eastbound lane to pass a semi truck, and collided with a Ford sedan that was heading eastbound.
Sauk County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 5:40 p.m. to the crash in the Town of Prairie du Sac, and determined the driver of the Ford sedan had died.
Officials identified the Ford driver as Craig Lowry, 45, of Milwaukee.
Officials took the other driver, a 70-year-old Seattle resident, to a hospital.
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office said it is still investigating this crash.
