An Edinburgh mum has opened a unique store in the west end to 'share the same hobby as her children'.
Carol McGuire, 45, opened the doors to Pokécards on William Street on Friday selling a range of Pokémon cards and has already gained interest from a large number of fans.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Carol said the venture came as a way to "engage with her children" due to her daughters being big fans of the media franchise.
She added: "We have two daughters who love Pokémon and we got into this as a way of engaging with them and sharing their hobby. It all started around March.
"We live in Edinburgh and we wanted to be part of the community and have something the kids would enjoy and we can enjoy with them.
