Midwest Communications announced Oct. 31 that 101.9 KELO-FM will move to a new frequency effective Nov. 3.

The radio station, which plays “adult contemporary” hit songs and features daily broadcaster Chris Calhoun, will now be found at 95.7 FM.

The station’s annual holiday tradition of playing only Christmas music November through December will also begin Nov. 3, featuring longtime broadcaster Jeff Gould’s “A Prairie Christmas” radio program starting daily on Nov. 28.

Midwest Communications says Sioux Falls 101.9 FM will also adopt the call letters KQSF-FM and become “Q 101.9,” playing “contemporary hits from the Top 40 format.”
