Another candidate for the Sioux Falls City Council has filed their intent to run, this time for the seat in the city's Southeastern District.

Mike Crane, a managing member of Crane and Fowler Investments, has served on the Sioux Falls School Board as well as a number of other boards, including chairing the city's Parks and Recreation Board.

“As Sioux Falls continues to grow and change, we need leaders who understand where we have been, and who have a clear vision for where we can go,” Crane said in a news release. “I am ready to continue working for a city that listens to its people and puts them first."

Crane cited safety, sensible growth and good governance as the priorities of his campaign.
