GREENVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — One person died after a crash that happened on Friday morning in Greenville.

The Greenville Police Department says the two-vehicle crash happened around 8:16 a.m. at the intersection of KY 189 Bypass and Airport Road.

Police say 77-year-old Larry Henderson of Greenville was driving down the KY 189 Bypass towards Airport Road when he was hit by a bucket truck.

Witnesses told police Henderson didn't stop at a red light and entered the intersection into the path of the truck, which struck his vehicle on the driver's side.

Henderson was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.
