OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Shots were fired on Hathaway Street in Owensboro on Friday morning, damaging a home and a car.

Owensboro Police Department officers responded to the scene just before 8 a.m. and found multiple bullets had struck the residence and vehicle.

Officers say they also discovered several shell casings in a nearby parking lot.

The Owensboro Police Department's Evidence Collection Unit and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were on site to process the crime scene and continue the investigation.

No injuries have been reported, and authorities believe this was an isolated incident.
