PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An Arizona Cardinals legend is supporting a Valley health organization in the fight against breast cancer, and that is Something Good!

The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation is donating $1 million to Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center . The Laura Dreier Breast Cancer Center at the hospital is being renamed " The Carol Fitzgerald Breast Health Center, " in honor of Larry’s late mother. Sadly, Carol lost her battle with breast cancer at just 47 years old in 2003.

On Friday, Banner held a ceremony to dedicate the center to Carol and the Fitzgerald family. The NFL legends’ family were there for the big reveal.
