Gayle King is breaking her silence on all the reports about her future at CBS .
On Thursday (October 30), it was reported that the 70-year-old longtime CBS Mornings co-anchor is expected to exit her anchor seat next year as the network undergoes a huge overhaul under the new Paramount Skydance leadership.
Gayle ‘s contract is up in May 2026, and while CBS is hoping to keep her in the fold, the next phase of her role is unclear, per Variety .
While leaving the CBS studios in New York City on Friday morning (October 31), Gayle addressed the reports.
“All I can say is this: From what I’m being told inside this building…all I’ve been told by everybody in this building is that they want me here, they like the job I’m doing, I like the job I’m doing!” Gayle told a TMZ
