AMD's exclusion of the RX 5000 and RX 6000 series GPUs from its latest game optimization and features support resulted in a backlash. It's obvious since anybody who owns these GPUs, particularly those who bought them in the last 2-3 years, wouldn't want to see being left in the dark too soon. AMD explicitly stated that it will only provide these GPUs the bug fixes and critical security updates, but it looks like it is now rolling back its decision.
