BELL COUNTY, Texas — New information has emerged on the Bell County teen that has now been certified to stand trial as an adult on murder and aggravated assault charges, stemming from a March shooting that left one person dead and two others injured.
Reshawn Raynel Isaiah Ellison, 16, appeared before a Bell County juvenile court Aug. 13 for a discretionary transfer hearing, where officials determined he should face charges in adult criminal court .
The transfer order revealed that Ellison had accumulated 12 referrals for 16 offenses and was on juvenile probation at the time that the shooting occurred. The documents also show that before the shooting, he had violated his conditions of probation and accumulated new offenses.
