Jammu and Kashmir, Oct 31: This year, the auspicious observance of Bhishma Panchak Vrat will commence on Saturday, November 1, 2025, and conclude on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, on the day of Kartik Purnima.

Jammu & Kashmir Mahant Rohit Shastri (Jyotishacharya), President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust (Regd.), stated that the Bhishma Panchak Vrat holds immense importance in Sanatan Dharma.

According to the scriptures, this five-day fast observed from Ekadashi to Purnima during the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of Kartik month is considered highly meritorious.

Due to the omission (Kshaya) of Kartik Shukla Dwadashi Tithi this year, the fast will begin from Dashami-yukta Ekadashi.
