I’ve always wanted to move to the city, away from my home. When I found an apartment on 32nd Street that was cheap enough for me to move in right away, I decided to jump at the opportunity and get my life started.

When I got to the building it was run down but hopeful because I didn’t see the worn paint or patterns from 20 years ago, I saw my future and a place where I could be independent and free.
