BENNINGTON — Jon Hale of Hale Resources LLC, which is undertaking the Benn High redevelopment project in partnership with the town, is suing his son and business partner, Zachary “Zak” Hale, who has taken the lead on the $54 million project.
Despite the inter-company dispute, Zak Hale said Thursday that the Benn High project won’t be affected. Construction is underway, and he said work is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
In a suit filed October 22 in Bennington Superior Court, Jon Hale seeks Zak Hale’s removal from membership in their limited liability corporation under terms of an operating agreement they signed in 2019.
