FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — The arts alley known as Cat Alley in Foley has already seen some improvements, and more are to come, according to a City of Foley news release.

The next phase of the project to improve the downtown walkway is a new entrance on North Alston Street, to be designed by WAS Design.

Cat Alley runs from West Laurel Avenue to West Jessamine Avenue between North McKenzie Street and North Alston Street.

Work already done includes new lighting, landscaping, a public seating area and fencing. Foley Main Street, the city's downtown improvement organization, decorated the arts alley with murals done by professional artists and local school students.
