WASHINGTON — Ariana Grande is joining the cast of "American Horror Story" for season 13 of FX's supernatural horror show.
Grande is returning to the world of showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk after starring in their 2015 horror comedy "Scream Queens." She most recently received praise for her role as Glinda in the film adaptation of "Wicked," which is appropriate given the subject matter of her new project.
American Horror Story is an anthology show, with each season focusing on a different supernatural drama. Actors often return in different roles each season because of the series' nature. Because of the anthology format, each season has a subtitle referencing its particular plot.
Grande will be joined by an all-star lineup of AHS veterans, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson
