Webb City High School swept through its Class 4 District 6 volleyball tournament to meet Marshfield High School in a battle of the birds for a state quarterfinal game.

The Cardinals earned 3-0 sweeps against each of their opponents in Springfield Catholic, Hillcrest and Carl Junction high schools. The Blue Jays swept Marshall High School but surrendered a set to both Pacific High School and Jefferson City High School on the way to the District 5 title. ×
