Dayton’s Eyzaak Corona is The Oregonian/OregonLive boys soccer player of the week for the week of Oct. 20, as voted by subscribers.

Just a freshman, Corona was subbed in to play after the Pirates’ starting goalkeeper went down in the 3A/2A/1A Special District 2 title game against Blanchet Catholic last week. Dayton won the game 2-1 (5-4 in PKs) and Corona recorded two saves during the penalty kick shootout.
