SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man is accused of following a woman and her toddler to their home and attempting to drag the woman toward a vehicle after seeing her at Target.
Online court dockets state Joshua Allen York, born in 1995, has been charged with first-degree kidnapping — facilitating a felony — inflicting injury — terrorizing; first-degree stalking; and first-degree child endangerment.
The probable cause statement says the incident occurred when a woman and her 2-year-old son entered Target on East Primrose at about 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 15.
York allegedly entered shortly before the victims and “wandered around the store” until he saw the woman and followed her through the aisles, the statement says.
