Happy Halloween, everyone!
Thankfully, temperatures haven’t been too chilly for late-night trick-or-treating, and the wet weather has stayed at bay. However, that’s about to change.
Saturday morning, we’ll have a small chance of precipitation as a cold front moves through the region. Areas along and south of I-44 should watch out for a sprinkle or light shower during the morning hours before skies gradually begin to clear.
Temperatures will certainly be chilly this weekend, with highs stuck in the 50s for both Saturday and Sunday.
It’s worth noting that a Freeze Watch has been issued for Saturday night, as the coldest weather of the season is expected to arrive. Clear skies, light winds, and high pressure overhead will set the stage for overnight temperatures to dip into the lower 30s
