COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A 22-year-old Columbus man has been charged with murder in connection with the August 2024 shooting death of Jabreia Burston.

Marques Lattimore was arrested Oct. 24 and charged with murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in Burston’s death.

Lattimore appeared in Recorder’s Court on Oct. 28, where he pled not guilty to the charges and was denied bond. The case has been bound over to Superior Court for further proceedings.

At the time of his arrest, Lattimore was out on bond for home invasion and armed robbery charges stemming from a separate case.
