Campbell County has benefited from projects that were recently completed by two Eagle Scout candidates. Tyler Stalcup organized Boy Scouts into building and painting five new thermometer signs for the United Way. Three of the old signs were replaced and new ones put at the same site. “The United Way was going to build new signs and I guess that I kind of volunteered,” Stalcup said. “It was fun because we got to build stuff and because we got to help other people.” Richard Dewey, a 13-year-old eighth-grader at Sage Valley, put up bat houses at Dalbey and McManamen parks.
