ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) — Halloween spirit took over the Isle of Palms Friday evening as families hit the streets many in golf carts decked out for the annual Halloween Parade.
The festive event drew thousands to the island, with participants showing off creative decorations and costumes as part of the city’s beloved tradition.
“It’s going to be our annual golf cart parade for Halloween and it’s really cool because people bring their golf carts and they’re decorated and there’s a contest associated with it. It is really amazing to see what creative decorations people come up with on a golf cart,” said Isle of Palms Police Chief Kevin Cornett.
