Delhi Police on Friday observed ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025’, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the ‘Iron Man of India’.

The force organised various activities across all districts to promote unity, integrity, and national security. Police personnel took the Ekta Diwas Pledge, participated in Run for Unity events, as well as conducted tree plantation drives and photo exhibitions showcasing Patel’s life and legacy.

Seven major “Run for Unity” events were held across Delhi ’s territorial and transport ranges, graced by eminent personalities including cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Madan Lal, actor Manoj Joshi, and Olympians Aman Sehrawat and Ravi Kumar Dahiya.
