U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney said Friday that federal courts were "absolutely right" to order the administration of President Donald Trump to distribute contingency funds for federal food aid benefits.
Federal judges in Rhode Island and Massachusetts on Friday ruled that the Trump administration must distribute contingency funds for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which used to be known as food stamps, The Associated Press reported.
