PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- PIX11's Henry Rosoff caught up with Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for Mayor, who was greeting trick-or-treaters Friday night.

Surrounded by young families, in a neighborhood known for raising children, Rosoff asked about education, key issues, and the state of the race for Mayor.

Mamdani is the strong favorite to become the next Mayor of New York City, according to recent polling, including a poll by PIX11, Emerson College, and The Hill.

That poll released Thursday shows him with a 25-point lead over former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
