Wilsonville’s Luke Brainard is The Oregonian/OregonLive football player of the week for the week of Oct. 20, as voted by subscribers.
In the Wildcats’ 42-14 victory against McNary last week, Brainard had two catched for 77 yards and a touchdown as a tight end. On the defensive side, he recorded four solo tackles, two tackles for loss, blocked a punt and recovered a fumble.
