A 16-year-old girl allegedly assaulted two WA Police officers after they were called to disperse an out-of-control Halloween party in Perth’s south on Friday night.

Police were called to a home in Byford about 9.30pm after neighbours reported multiple disturbances from a Halloween party that was getting out of control.

When arriving at the Linton Street North property, officers found about 400 people — including several gatecrashers — in the area of the party, a police spokeswoman said.

Police said many of the partygoers were intoxicated, and the ghoulish celebration was shut down, with attendees asked to leave.

While police were shutting down the party, a 16-year-old allegedly assaulted two police officers during her arrest.
